It's that most hairless time of the year - Shave For A Cure

Weekend update later...

Right now - it's coming up to my yearly haircut time :) yes folks... I
know I have been blonde, I have been white, I have been black, actually
I have been many things (some of them even true) - but now I am getting
it all cut off for charity (again).

Yes folks, the time of the year has come where I am getting my head
shaved to raise money for charity. For the past 2 years I have done it
onstage at Hellfire, and I will be approaching the wonderful organisers
for this favour again, for that matter I know one of them reads this:
So... Can I? Can I? Huh?

The 'official' days for doing this are March 13-15 - but seeing as
Hellfire is on March 20th, that's when I am happy to have it done - on
the main stage (obviously only if there is space in their, always,
delectable lineup of talent).

Regardless of when/where it is done, though, the important part of the
process is the raising of monies for The Leukaemia Foundation to aid in
the research to find a cure, and/or the support of those living with
(not dying from) Leukeamia. Every hour of every day someone in Australia
is diagnosed with leukaemia, lymphoma or myeloma.

Currently, more than 30,000 Australians are living with one of these
cancers but only 4 out of 10 adults survive.

Lymphoma is the fifth most common cancer in this country, and the number
of people affected has doubled in the last 20 years.

The money raised for the Leukaemia Foundation World's Greatest Shave
will directly support patients and their families when they need it
most.

Also, donations over $2 are tax deductions (if you wanted to know that
bit).

So.....

To sponsor me in this quest to raise money for a cause which affects so
many, please click on this link... or if your browser doesn't like that
(for some esoteric reason) follow the following link:

:)

The cause is great - and after all... who doesn't like seeing me look
like Dr Evil?
