On even darker thoughts

Firstly we have John McCain pulling a publicity stunt to give the impression
that he is doing something about the economy by halting his campaign
(<i>right before a televised debate which would see Senator Obama destroy
his credibility on screen</i>).

Then, even more annoyingly, here in Australia, we have yet another tax-break
bill being stopped by the Coalition (and Family First [now THERE'S a shock
</ sarcasm >). This one meaning that 400,000 families will not get the
Medicare Tax Relief, one of the centrepoints of the Budget.

Steadily, Labour's budget is being systematically destroyed by the Coalition
Shadow Cabinet. Primarily by their ability to literally block supply with
numbers and their pet 'Independents'. I think it's called Sour Grapes.

Can we hear "Double Dissolution Of Parliament" coming up? I know I can.
