I am still mostly here... again

Seeing as I have had my contract extended until the end of September, it means that things are pretty much on the up-and-up. Sure there are sling and arrows of both the outrageous fortune-kind (along with the seas of troubles) but as far as I am concerned, I am in a boat ON that sea armed with the slings and arrows :)

Michael Jackson's death illustrated something (which I already knew) but needs to be said more and more often, I think. One is innocent until proven guilty. Regardless of the payments made, there were never any provable charges brought against the man. His behaviour alone is not enough to condemn him of the allegations. Simply put, people are innocent until *proven* guilty. Until that time, they deserve all the benefits and acceptances of being innocent. To ignore the gossip is simply that, it's not ignoring any facts, as facts are those things which are proven. That's my last word on the MJ reputation front (although the same can be said for Gavan Disney, and a few others as well).

'Tis the season for Swine Flu... well the season for flu, anyway, and I am valiantly staving this one off until there is a break in the week/s and then I think I shall have a full weekend of nothing but sleep and flu recovery. Of course that doesn't mean that I won't be out and about ;).

Nice thing is also being head-hunted by [insert company name here] by an ex-colleague, offering close to double what I am getting now. This is definitely something to contemplate as the date/s get closer to end of September (that being said, the position may/not still be available then, so
we'll see).

It could be a full weekend, but it's an off payweek, so I think that even though I wanted to get to CTRL-ALT tomorrow, especially seeing as a friend of mine is debuting as a DJ there... unfortunately, due to tiredness and fundage, I probably won't be able to... That means leaving myself for Saturday night. Contrary to popular belief (mine included) I now am not filming this weekend at all. That was postponed to during next week, and so I am happily going to be attending DM this Saturday night - with a long relaxing soak afterwards. Sunday may well be a relaxing day, then early night for the following week, with a Taxation appointment on Monday,
followed by the screenings of Harry Potter films in leadup to The Half-Blood Prince next Thursday.

Well, that's my relatively uneventful lot right now... I should get back to analysing MTU issues...
