Hmmm this is a tough question... strangest place... I think the strangest (being one out of the normal sort of place) would be the old air-raid tunnels under St james Station in the city. They're dark (no lights), they have blast walls to stop explosive compression injuries to those huddling inside, they have tree roots growing down through the ceilings (it's under Hyde Park)... and at the other end is the St James underground lake which, as far as rumour and myth go, has a full office setup at the lower end (with desk and all) though I haven't been out on the lake (it's about a100 wide). many people say the WWII office furniture is still there (but I personally doubt it)
