The Warmth of the sun....

Well, tonight's plans have all gone pear-shaped which funnily enough
leaves me better off financially then if I did go to things I was going
to.

Originally I was heading to Katoomba to catch Deb, Marissa and Catherine
in Jingle Belles, but unfortunately the accommodation went somewhat
weird (ie: they lost the booking) and so the only rooms were $$$ ones.
This actually means I don't have to dash home like a deranged
crazy-person, get stuff, get to Central, hop an express, book in, pay,
go to the show, and then book out in the morning and come back - not to
mention the peoples I was going with (and room-sharing with) can't make
it anymore anyway. Overall it actually saves money, and means that I am
here early in the morning for shopping - downside: I miss out :( ... but
It's OK. I wish all the absolute best to 'Jingle Belles' for the night.
I am SURE it will rock :)

Weird-thing-of-the-day... Rocky Horror was cancelled for tonight - and
so far there's no explanation anywhere as to why - I have this feeling
it might be the Xmas-Season precursor to "get more audience, or else!"
but I am speculating here and have no facts - ask the guys over at their
MySpace site. I may still be in the city later on tonight, though.

There was a delay in the delivery of the new TV/Washer/Camera yesterday,
as they apparently lost the delivery bookings - BUT it all gets
delivered either tonight or next week before Xmas - brilliant -
everything at the last moment. It's par for the course for Project
Management. Speaking of which... the spa is on track to leave Perth
tomorrow and should be in Sydney on Tuesday. Meaning that it should be
at The Fortress on Tuesday/Wednesday afternoon - barring 'Acts of Gods'
and 'Aberrations Of Parliament'. So that seems to be the good thing at
this stage (not that anytrhing is bad actually).

In the 'Good things happen' department, I won tickets to go and see The
NYE Fireworks from The Cahill Expressway! This is an excellent thing
indeed - I mean what a vantage position! And only 5,000 people are
allowed there. Also, this could be one of the last years that it's
happening because there are very real plans afoot to demolish the Cahill
Expressway (as it's not used so much anymore).

The weekend? Well, tonight is kinda sorted, although there is a thing on
in newtown - but it's secret and I don't know anything about it.
Shhhhhhhhhh ;) . Tomorrow is shopping, a dash by Amaya's Birthday drinks
(Note to self: Buy a cupcake!), and then Robot Strippers 3000 at 34b,
followed by... er... I am not sure, because it will be late but I KNOW
the company will be MORE than worth it.

Then Sunday will be... er... something followed by ... er... sleep? And
then the last week of work before Xmas.

Shite. Who am I buying a gift for this year? I have no idea - I might
just make Boxing Day the Present (like Kym always suggests) ;)
