1. What did you do in 2007 that you'd never done before?
Met the PM (at the time).

2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for
next year?
Gosh - I had a list (partially stolen from illdrinn) of 60 things I
wanted to do... I'll have to look it up. That's kinda like NYR isn't it?

3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
Yes! My ex-housemate did :)

4. Did anyone close to you die?
Tragically, yes.

5. What countries did you visit?
This one... I was too busy working to jaunt overseas.

6. What would you like to have in 2008 that you lacked in 2007?
Even more fun, and much MUCH less stress.

7. What dates from 2007 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
January 28th
February 3
I don't need to say why - those who were there, know.

8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Being in charge of the IT for the APEC meeting in Perth

9. What was your biggest failure?
Patience.

10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
A really bad flu (the first real one in about 10 years). Apart from
that, just the usual carpet burn... ;)

11. What was the best thing you bought?
A plane ticket for someone who really needed it.

12. Whose behaviour merited celebration?
None really, as they pretty much lived up to their potential.

13. Whose behaviour made you appalled and depressed?
A certain person who assumed things whilst on a substance-induced
paranoid binge and thus created a 'truth' because it suited their
requirements; a couple with appalling senses of timing; and a couple of
others who were friends and then tried to pull the "it's me or them"
act. They know my views on that, they lost.

14. Where did most of your money go?
er... money? I had money?

15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
Good people who happily surprise me - it's rare and far-between.

16. What song will always remind you of 2007?
Master & Servant by Depeche Mode - those in the know, know why.

17. Compared to this time last year, are you:
a) happier or sadder?
Overall, happier, I think :)
b) thinner or fatter?
Same weight, better physique.
c) richer or poorer?
Richer by money and people.

18. What do you wish you'd done more of?
I wish I'd spent more time out with friends instead of having a job run
my life/time, and therefore relegating a few friendships to mere
acquaintenships.

19. What do you wish you'd done less of?
Dealing with work

20. How will you be spending Christmas?
As last year.

21. Did you fall in love in 2007?
Heh heh heh heh

22. How many one-night stands?
No one-night stands at all.

23. What was your favourite TV program?
Time Team & Battlestar Galactica

24. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year?
Hate? No. Bemused by some, very disappointed in others.

25. What was the best book you read?
Leviathan by John Birmingham (thanks to badpauly for the
recommendation).

26. What was your greatest musical discovery?
Megadeth... yes I know, I know.

27. What did you want and get?
More self-sufficiency

28. What did you want and not get?
To spend extra time with someone no longer here.

29. What was your favourite film of this year?
300 I think.

30. What did you do on your birthday
Told no-one. However I DID get taken to my favourite Japanese restaurant
and taken to Gigantour by mslucyblue who flew in especially to spend it
with me.

31.What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more
satisfying?
More time with loved ones.

32. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2006?
Black

Keira Knightly

The 2007 Federal Election

Absent friends.

It ebbed and flowed, actually, but overall: uberredfraggle and

It'll be tough at times... but you'll get there in the end... and it'll
