When you're warm in bed, and the alarms go off... they wake you up, you roll over, the cat stretches under the covers and claws a 9cm scratch down your side (which REALLY wakes you up quickly). Then you get up, you breathe out steam in the early dark cold of the morning, the TV flickers on and the Today Show shows you the news in Georgia, a quick shower, change, and out the door to get into the office by 7:15am.... Only to hear (about 15 mins later) that your offsider is ill and so you're not going to be rolling out 8 PCs in Lidcombe that day after all, and you could have slept in for another 2 hours.
< sigh >
At least it's Star WarsThe Clone Wars (Mini-Series) (Part 1) tonight (next Wednesday is Part 2, if I can find it before then). However, I may have to be back here at 7:15am tomorrow morning... so... it can't be a very late one tonight... urgh.
On the other hand... it looks like the major criticism (at The Fortress) of the Olympics Opening Ceremony was spot on the money. CGI fireworks to fool the viewers... who'd-a-thought that the Chinese would edit TV coverage to convince the viewers that they'd seen something that they really hadn't? ;)
