A good morning? ....Yeah :)

Well, it was a good weekend :)

Although it was a busy Friday - with an awesome degustation at The Ocean
Room at Circular Quay, with <lj user="chaotic_avatar">, <lj
user="arby_doll">,<lj user="master_flea">, <lj user="happydiletant">, <lj
user="spiteful_elf">, <lj user="trashtastika"> + <lj user="_skanka_">. A
great suggestion, and 95% in the realm of excellent foods, although I think
I might have foregone the rib-eye at the end, personally. I have to ad
though that the cheesecake was the orgasm of the meal (with the sorbet
running a close second). Service was great, and Tobias was everything that
<lj user="missdissent"> said he would be. That followed with <lj
user="arby_doll"> and I making a quick trip home to change, grab Abi, and
head off to Black Planet... And whilst the music was good it was
unfortunately somewhat under-attended. Not sure why... But it was.

Thence a Saturday of spa and sunning (although the latter needs to be taken
with a grain of salt as I found myself a little pink in the shoulder
department later on). We did watch 2 Starship Troopers films later in the
eve, caught <lj user="pornofairy">'s birthday at midnight and there
thankfully was nothing else on Saturday night... Unconciousness I think...
Yes that was it.

Sunday was a day of pottering about the house, cleaning up, followed that
evening by heading in to the Forest Lodge Hotel for Horror Hotel, with <lj
user="darkelvis2003">. Technical hitches notwithstanding, I can see that it
could become a good place to chill on a Sunday evening (albeit every 2nd
week).

It has to be a good morning - when you're at your desk, the muffuin is hot,
the tomato is crisp and fresh, the coffee is awesome, and David Bowie's
'Young American' pops on, followed by Bruce Spirngsteen's "Born To Run".
