The contracting job market...

They say that there are a lot of contract positions available. 

This seems to be true, after all, I have applied for 45 contracts as of this afternoon. 

Granted, I have had 5 (non-agency) interviews, and as of yet... que nada. I am waiting on a call-back from Hong Kong, a callback from Dept Of Commerce, and a callback from UNSW. Remember that this means little, as the callbacks have been deferred since Friday and although the interviews went well, I got the feeling that these were probity-interviews (that is to say, interviews done because they have to - when they have someone already in mind for the position/s.

Still I shall keep applying and ringing the agencies, because that is the only way you'll get something... soon... hopefully.

(I may not be about too much until I get something, though)
