<b>1) How old were you?</b> <i>[are you sure I have to answer this one?]</i>
<u>Then:</u> 10 years younger then now
<u>Now:</u> 10 years older than then ;)

<b>2) What was your online presence?</b>
<u>Then:</u> Email, website at tig.com.au (which is archived on The Internet
Archive - parts are a little embarressing)
<u>Now:</u> Many Social sites and so forth (just google search "ozgenre"
you'll see)

<b>3) Where did you work?</b>
<u>Then:</u> Just starting my Contract at QANTAS
<u>Now:</u> Finishing a contract at Australia Post on Friday (and need a new
one QUICKLY)

<b>4) Where did you live?</b>
<u>Then:</u> The Fortress
<u>Now:</u> (still) The Fortress

<b>5) Who did you live with?</b>
<u>Then:</u> I think <lj user="nikkicat13"> and <lj user="timling"> were
still there (memory fuzzy here... little help?)
<u>Now:</u> Me, <lj user="sophronia"> and soon to be moving in <lj
user="arby_doll">

<b>6) How was your health?</b>
<u>Then:</u> Gym-healthy. Seriously good (considering certain things) and
somewhat muscularly 'bigger' than I am now (must fix that up again).
<u>Now:</u> Less weight, same general shape. Healthier than I should be
<i>[looks at certain people]</i> You know why ;)

<b>7) Pets?</b>
<u>Then:</u> Red-Point Siamese - "Mandor", Ginger Tom - "Bill"
<u>Now:</u> Red-Point Siamese - "Indy", Tabby Moggy - "Dara", Vocal
Tortoishell - "Wall-ey" (the name was there 2 yrs BEFORE the movie), Small
black kittun - "Fi"

<b>8) Who was your boyfriend/girlfriend/partner/spouse/S.O.?</b>
<u>Then:</u> Ummmmmmmmmmmmmmm
<u>Now:</u> In which country/city? ;)

<b>9) Who were your friends?</b>
<u>Then:</u> Gods... A number of people in the Australian RPG scene (Mark
Barnes, Mark Grundy, Wes Nicholson, Dennis Ashelford) some in the Goth scene
(Mark Spain, Wally, names... names...).
<u>Now:</u> More people than I expect. :)

<b>10) Any kids? Any plans for kids?</b>
<u>Then:</u> Nice to borrow and give back at the end of the day loaded with
sugar.
<u>Now:</u> I really don't know. (But still fun to borrow and give back at
the end of the day loaded with sugar).

<b>11) What was your worst struggle?</b>
<u>Then:</u> Within myself, not knowing how I fitted in and trying too hard
to make too many people happy (the wrong way).
<u>Now:</u> Finding a new contract - it's hard these days!

<b>12) What was your biggest joy?</b>
<u>Then:</u> The people closest to me who 'got' me.
<u>Now:</u> The people closest to me who 'get' me and don't just say that
they do.

<b>13) What did you consider your greatest accomplishment?</b>
<u>Then:</u> Surviving? Ummm putting things back into a community I was a
part of (for about 15 years). That was important.
<u>Now:</u> Being a part of the first ever Mardi Gras March. We started
something bigger than just a walk down the street.

<b>14) What advice would you give your younger self?</b>
<i>"Don't change. Just be a little more ruthless in making sure that people
mean what they say. Don't be so damned cocky, kid! Oh yes, and SAVE MORE
MONEY dumbass!"</i>

<b>15) What would your younger self say to you?</b>
<i>"F@ck! You're starting to get a little older and a bit more unfit, but
thank f@ck you're not old, boring, fat and stuck with kids."</i>

<b>16) Looking back, is your life in 2008 what you thought it would be in
1998?</b>
Actually it kind-of is what I thought. Much the same, but wiser and even
more self-assured.
