Eurovision rocked...

Well I must say that it was a little diminished with Terry Wogan gone (whom I grew to be fond of) - and with the leaping ahead of the winner so early meant that it was a one-horse race - though I DID think there might have been a last-minute rally by another copuntry.

For the record I think the Greek song AND the German song both rocked - with Nikki and Eric and I were 'discussing' the various merits when the special guest performer in the German entry tipped it over the top (for most in the room). Though my criteria was about the song. A lovely repast for all prepared and served by Barbara :) and thank you to those who said they would attend and did - you guys reaped the benefits of the shopping spree we performed AND Barb's food prepareation skills. Thanks, also, to those who let us know that they weren't coming beforehand... that is VERY much appreciated. Those who said they would attend and didn't... I have a book on ettiquette and manners which I will recommend you buy.

Now, back to the grind...
