Well, it was a busy weekend, really.
I wanted to go out on Friday night, but a VERY early calltime for Saturday morning stopped me.
Two days filming in Bondi, Bronte, Maroubra. Saturday was a 6am calltime (so knowing me at shooting I got there 30 mins beforehand. A lot of filming was done, and very professionally with MANY scenes completed, which was great because that meant less of a shoot the following day. A return home then, a somewhat early-ish finish which was a good thing. It meant that I had more than an hour to get home, shower, change and then a tired, yet important, dash off to see The Graphics perform at The Excelsior (and to with Ash a happy birthday). I have to add that even though they hadn't been together for 6(?) months, they still sounded great :) We met up (for a short time) with Wiild Chiild but had to dash out for a quick sojourn to "Down In The Woods" (the 'Love & Hatred' replacement club for this month only) for an hour. Then home and sleep and an early cast call again on Sunday.
Filming finished with a minimum set of delays (apart from a small incident with a driver who tried to knock down one of the actors, because they *had to* park in that spot - and they were 'in Construction' hence 'more important' than those involved in the film. Permits notwithstanding, they were booked by the Coucil Rangers and moved along - I LOVE professional gigs. No, really I do. Makes little 'dramas' like that become the laughing stock of all who observed. I just hope the cameras were rolling at the time.
